zip code. Also specify any accessories or other items you'd like included
in your quote. These may include linen liners, fillets, mounting hardware,
backing board(s), mat board(s), hanging wire and hardware, glazing (glass,
etc.), bumpers, framing spacers, etc. If you're not sure what such items
your project will require, just ask a professional framer at sales@artright.com
for recommendations. Check your email for a complete price quote including shipping
and purchasing instructions!
Or
figure the price yourself:
step
1) Add the
lengths of all four sides of your artwork (in inches), adding a standard
allowance of 1/8" to each side.
step 2) Multiply
the width of your chosen frame moulding (in inches) by 8.
step 3) Add the
results of steps 1 and 2.
step 4) Divide by
12.
step 5) Round up
to the nearest 1/2 of a whole number. This is the amount of moulding your
frame requires (in feet).
step 6) Multiply
this number by the price-per-foot of your chosen frame moulding. This is
the price of your Assembled frame moulding.
step 7) Email your order to sales@ArtRight.com
along with any special requests. Your order of custom framing will be
added to any other order from the site, because all orders are processed one at
a time by a real human being! You will be emailed a final total cost,
including shipping/handling, taxes, etc. before your account is charged.
Example:
To
figure the price of a frame (3" wide moulding @ $8.00/ft.) for a 16" x
20" painting:
step
1) 16-1/8 + 16-1/8 + 20-1/8 + 20-1/8 = 72.5 inches
step 2) 3 x 8 = 24 inches
step 3) 72.5 + 24 = 96.5 inches
step 4) 96.5 divided by 12 =8.04166
step 5) 8.04166 rounded up to the nearest
half-foot = 8-1/2 feet
step 6) 8-1/2 ft. x $8.00/ft. = $68.00
step 7) Now you know the price of your custom
