"FRAMESECURE" SECURITY
HANGER INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALUMINUM PICTURE FRAMES
1.
Insert hole locater pins into hangers.
2.
Rotate hangers into frame at corners.
3. Position
hangers like this to support the weight properly.
4. Mark the hanger
locations on the wall by "whumping" the frame at the
corners.
5. Drill 1/4"
holes (2" deep) into wall at marks from step 4. Then,
screw Framesecure® pieces into anchors as shown at
left.
6. Rotate the
hangers to the locked position using a screwdriver or credit
card. This is the secret to un-locking!
IMPORTANT: when using supplied
screws & anchors, tighten screw 8 full turns after it bottoms
out in the anchor. This contracts the anchor within the wall,
while still allowing the Framesecure® piece to rotate.
If you hit a stud, simply screw
into the stud without the anchor, or move the Framesecure®
piece on the picture frame to miss the stud.
